at winter when closed, the water in the pipe is lead out of the drainport in the bottom af the valve, and prevent the pipe bursting from frost

Kit for pressure drainage
There is also a kit avaible who makes the ball valve suitable for air pressure draining.

at winter when closing the valve just pump air in the tube and the water is pressed out of the pipe
