JCH Type 745751 air valves are used to protect summer cottages and meter pits against winter frost damage. With the help of the valve, air is pumped into the piping to empty it of water, thus protecting the piping against sub-zero temperatures. The air valve is available with standard ½" RG nipple. It can, however, also be supplied with ¾" or ¼" nipple if 500 or more are ordered.
